Kristjan Varnik was born in Boston and still remains nostalgic about the 1200 baud modem and the Atari 1040ST. After studying Computer Science at New York University, he rode the Dot Com wave up to its glory, and down to its depths. Along the way he coded web projects for British Airways, WGBH and small Internet start-ups. He currently resides as a sound artist at Akademie Schloss Solitude where he writes audio programs and composes music.
